How do I perform a hard reset on Samsung SPH-m610

Important: Backup your phone before using this procedure, or you will lose your data.

If you’re reading this your smartphone is probably acting out, or your planning on giving/selling it to someone else. This procedure will restore your phone to its original factory state, removing all data and apps.

In order to reset your smartphone you first have to enter recovery mode.

How to factory reset Samsung SPH-m610:

  • Power off the phone
  • Power on the phone holding the Home, Power and Volume Up buttons until recovery booting appears in upper left corner
  • Using the Volume down button navigate to “Wipe data/factory reset” and select it using the power button
  • Use the volume down key to highlight “Wipe data/factory reset”
  • Press the power key to select
